The website is now under construction. Actually it's been under construction for a while, but since this system is more discrete than continuous, you just haven't noticed yet.

Well delegates and visitors, it's time for a news update! First of all, I've found some schools here in Louisiana that could really use that recruitment packet Ashish has made (contact me about the funding for it soon, Ashish). Also, early registration deadline approaches - April 1; don't forget to register early for national convention and save your $25. We hope to have our "Info" section up soon, now that the Contact committee has been delegated that job. For the committees, as of now, we're in limbo, but contact me if you come up with some creative ideas (even if they don't fall under your committee's jurisdiction). Finally, the Mu Alpha Theta newsletter will be coming out soon, and we officers have been given an article to write about the student delegates' work; so, if you have any news or info you'd like to put into the organization's newsletter, let one of us 4 know. Good luck with the rest of the year (beware of that evil senioritis)!

The National Convention packet is now available for downloading on the National Mu Website here.

Massive updates today. If anyone has been here recently, you probably noticed that hideous ad thing fateback added to the site so i changed up the coding to hide it. Also, added 2 links and the committee heads to the officer's page. If you haven't signed up to post on this site, please do so. I'm emailing you all about that but if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

The Recruitment committee is working hard! Ashish, the committee head, has compiled a pamphlet on Mu Alpha Theta, containing information, statistics, and some cool brochures that he pieced together from the writings of his committee members. Right now, we are awaiting an answer from the Mu Alpha Theta Board as to the funding we get as delegates (mostly to pay for postage of Ashish's packet to schools across the nation). If you have anything worthwhile to contribute to his packet or know any schools that do not have Mu Alpha Theta chapters, please e-mail him at desikeed6@aol.com Also, if you have any idea on how we can get funding (if the board doesn't come through), that would be helpful too.
